The organic texture is created by wrapping a small piece of silver in wrinkled tissue paper and passing it through metal rollers, pressing the delicate surface of the tissue into the metal. The result is a softly irregular surface that retains the impression of pressure, handling, and time, held permanently within the material.
Unlike Noon, which is formed in yellow gold and holds a sense of warmth, intensity and suspended brightness, Stilled is made in sterling silver, a cooler more reflective material. While gold carries the feeling of light, silver reflects it outwards, softening it and holding it in a quieter register. The two sit in opposition, like differant temperatures of the same moment.

Jewellery care is vital to ensure your piece lasts a lifetime. Most metal develops a natural surface patina over time, which will develop differently dependent on use and environment. Jewellery should be stored in a clean, dry environment while not being worn, preferably in the jewellery box it was presented in and away from other objects that may cause scratching.
The tarnishing process can be mediated by completely removing jewellery when applying creams, lotions, perfumes and keeping pieces away from moisture. Minimising contact between your metals and household chemicals will keep the piece looking fresher for longer. A gentle polishing cloth is recommended to buff your pieces from time to time.
